Sharron Marco-Thyse is foremost a human rights activist passionate about issues affecting women, youth and the rural poor. She believes in processes that creates an enabling environment for betterment of marginalized communities through policy and legislative changes.
She has extensive work experience around project management and implementation. Her post-graduate studies in Land and Agrarian Reform helps to focus the centrality of land within the rural development context.
Serving on several key strategic positions within the Agricultural Sector and the Wine Industry she ensures that through her involvement she contributes to platforms that allows diverse interest groups to meet, develop common objectives and work to bring about sustainable transformation.
